Scientists are already accustomed to the deep sea biota. they understand that life is very dependent on the rain of debris and remnants of life that comes from the surface. However, in the venting zone, occurs entirely different things. Marine life in, directly or indirectly, acquire energy from the presence of these vents.
Findings life around vents on the seafloor crust actually began in 1949. In the marine research in the Red Sea, found microscopic shrimp community (Saline Brine Shrimp) living in deep sea mud. In the 1960s, it was found that these microscopic shrimp live in mud high temperature in the deep sea volcanic vents
